You will examine the writer’s use of language in this text to shape meaning and affect interpretation. You will explore aspects of growing up or transition into new phases of life and a broader world. The personal experiences people encounter either result in growth, change or other consequences. You will examine the features of texts that shape our knowledge, attitudes and beliefs about individuals venturing into new experiences.
